Shipping policy

Order processing time

All orders are processed within 2 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. High volume shipping periods may affect the time orders are processed. We are not responsible for delays resulting from postal service issues. 

Please note, shipping is restricted to the state of West Virginia of the United States. 

Shipping Costs

There are options for shipping: Flat Rate depending on the weight you order, and calculated shipping provided by the USPS. For all orders up to 10 pounds, the flat rate to ship is $7. For all orders 10.01 pounds to 15 pounds, the flat rate to ship is $10. You can also choose to have the US Postal Service calculate the cost of shipping. Hopefully, one of these options will fit your budget. 

Once your order has shipped

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

The carrier assumes liability for the package and contents once it leaves our farm. The buyer should first contact the carrier with any delivery issue.

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@arbaughfarm.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.  

The recipient assumes liability once a package is delivered. To ensure quality and prevent theft, we recommend:

  • delivering to a secure, cool location, 
  • making sure packages are promptly retrieved, opened for inspection, and properly stored,
  • watching tracking updates or requesting delivery notification from the carrier, 
  • checking mailbox, mail locker, reception, porch, & neighbors before reporting a missing package, and
  • shipping to an alternative address if problems have arisen in the past.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is guaranteed until the order is prepared for shipment. Even after the guaranteed window, we do our best to cancel any order upon request.

Return Policy

You may return most new, unopened, non-perishable items within 30 days of receiving your item for a full refund. We’ll pay return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. See our official Refund Policy page for more details. 

Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase, so we offer a 30 day refund policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a refund.  We will gladly refund your purchase back to the original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. We do not refund shipping costs. Se our official Refund Policy page for more details. 

Christmas Orders (in General) Information (FY2025)

If you are ordering anything that is intended as a Christmas gift, you need to order no later than December 10th. Orders made by this date should get to you in time to place under the tree. I am unable to guarantee any orders will arrive by Christmas regardless when your order is placed. I promise to package your order and ship it timely as well as providing a tracking number. However, once the package is in the hands of the USPS, your package becomes the USPS's responsibility. Any questions regarding shipping time and status should be directed to the USPS. Any orders placed on or after December 10th are not guaranteed to arrive before Christmas, even if you pay for expedited shipping.  

On Farm Pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at The Farm. To do so, you will need to contact us first requesting which items you want and schedule a pick up date. Please contact us at sales@arbaughfarm.com to set up an on farm pickup.
